About Me

This is a story about overcoming a challenge.

An illness in infancy made eating and drinking extremely difficult, shaping my early relationship with food. Throughout my childhood, I was a “picky” eater, and struggled to nourish my body in ways that supported energy and growth.

As I grew older, experiencing the connection between what I ate and how I felt, I became curious about what food really does for the body. How it fuels us, shapes our health, and influences how we feel. I learned that what we eat impacts everything: our strength, our recovery, and even our mindset.

As an athlete, I’m especially interested in the gut microbiome. and how our diet affects our physical performance. The more I’ve learned, the more I’ve realized that true fitness starts from within.

That curiosity led me to create The Gut Project– a research-driven initiative meant to share what I’ve discovered, and help others understand the incredible connection between what we eat and how we feel, perform, and recover. For me, it’s a reminder that it’s never too late to rebuild your relationship with food and your health from the inside out. And for anyone who comes across my work, I hope it serves as both inspiration and invitation to see food as a powerful ally. The path to strength, both physical and mental, begins with what we choose to put into our bodies.
